Dear friends,
I had every intention of telling you a funny story about asparagus , but I found here that left me perplexed.
molecular cuisine , managed to pulverize asparagus so that they look quite similar to cocaine .
They also offer it in lines on mirrors.
So much for the anecdotal.
You might think that what left me perplexed was this asparagus -shovel , but no.
No no.
What I can't get out of my head is the whole eating-through-the-nose thing. Are they going to make us eat through our noses ? ARE THEY GOING TO MAKE US EAT THROUGH THEIR NOSES?
What's next? A brownie by the ear ?
Gentlemen of Molecular Cuisine, I ask for a little sanity . The experience is all well and good, but please, a little sanity. This is getting out of hand.
Up until the tortilla foam , we were doing well. And I thought: well, how nice! These kids are researching, playing, having fun in the kitchen, creating new machines... I really found it very interesting.
But eating through our noses... ARE THEY GOING TO MAKE US EAT THROUGH OUR NOSES, GUYS? I'm amazed.
Anyway, I don't think the asparagus shovel is very filling, so if you try it and still want it, when you get home, make this four-cheese asparagus pie , which is delicious. It goes well with a joint of radicchio.

Four Cheese Asparagus Pie Recipe
It's quite simple
1. Blanch the asparagus (if you don't know how, watch this 30-second video: How to Cook Asparagus Without It Being Tough ). Divide them into two parts: remove the stems from the tips and set aside. Blend the other part with a blender until it becomes a paste. Do not add water.
2. Dice the onion and sauté it in the tablespoon of butter .
provolone cheese to the onion over medium-low heat . Stir until melted.
4. Add the remaining cheeses: blue , butter , and spreadable . Stir until everything is combined.
5. Add the chopped asparagus and mix until smooth . You'll have a greenish cheese mixture.
6. Once combined, remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes.
7. Add the 3 eggs , salt, and pepper. Stir until combined.
8. Place the dough in a pie dish or pudding pan and prick it.
9. Add half of the asparagus and cheese mixture to the dough. Place the reserved asparagus
10. Add the remaining mixture and tuck the edges of the dough inward. Place the reserved asparagus tips
11. Bake in a moderate for about 20-25 minutes, or until the dough is golden.
How delicious asparagus is...
