Ingredients

  • 2 canned tuna cans
  • 1/2 cup of flour
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs or panko
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 of chopped onion
  • 2 chopped garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped coriander
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Frying oil

How to make simple tuna pancakes step by step

  1. In a large bowl combine tuna, well drained and crumbled with a fork; Flour, beaten eggs, onion, garlic, coriander, salt and pepper. Mix well until you get a homogeneous dough and let stand 30´ in the refrigerator. 
  2. Remove from the refrigerator, form pancakes with slightly wet hands, pass them through breadcrumbs and compact them well.
  3. Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat and fry the pancakes until they are golden and crispy on both sides. Place them on absorbent paper and enjoy them hot.
