Do you like cold desserts ?
I love them. Well, the others too.
But cold desserts have a key advantage: they're ideal for taking along when you need to bring dessert to a meeting, lunch, or dinner. In other words, you can prepare them at home in advance, and that's it, you can forget about it. Well, you can also buy ice cream, but I'll miss out on a post.
“How to Buy Ice Cream.” It’s not a very catchy title, to say the least.
Here's a selection of three cold desserts that I usually bring when I go somewhere, and they also have a unique twist: each of these desserts has three or fewer ingredients.
In addition to being cold desserts, they are also filling desserts. With very little effort, we can have a dessert that is presentable in society and even praiseworthy.
Anyway, I won't keep you any longer, I'll leave you with the selection.
3 cold desserts with ONLY 3 ingredients
desserts that pay
no-bake lemon dessert
If there's a cold dessert that's a killer, it's this no-bake lemon dessert. It only uses heavy cream, sugar, and lemon; it's made in no time, and, oh surprise, we mix the heavy cream and lemon on the stovetop, and it doesn't curdle! It's fantastic, delicious, smooth, and elegant. In the post, I also leave you the link to the recipe for the red berry sauce that I pair it with, but it's also great with whipped cream (yes sir, more cream... go for it). fresh chocolate and ginger terrine
This chocolate terrine is a cold dessert that I love. Do you know what it contains? Chocolate and water! Plus a little ginger. Did you ever imagine you could make a dessert with chocolate and water? Well, that's exactly what it is. I paired it with a tomato jam reduction (aaahhhh, what a masterchef!), but it's also great on its own. It's a strong but refreshing dessert, ideal with coffee and served in small portions. Oh! And it's also vegan. Perfect for you, hippie. To see the recipe, click here .
strawberries with cream
Yes, yes. Strawberries with cream is one of my favorite cold desserts, and without a doubt the one I've brought the most to other people's houses. Is it retro? Yes. Is it delicious? Yes. Why do I bring this dessert to other people's houses so often? Because I leave home without it and buy it directly from someone else: 1/2 kg of strawberries and 1/2 liter of heavy cream. And so I take it with me. I could buy ice cream, it's true. Or a Balcarce Dessert , if we're sticking with the retro vibe. But no. I choose this one because I get there and chat with the people who're there while drinking wine and cutting strawberries. It's an activity I enjoy. In addition to the recipe, I'll leave you a little trick in the post to make them fantastic. To see it, click here .
