Do you like pumpkin pudding ? I love this recipe, and so do my kids.
I discovered it a while ago at a Food Pluggers .
For those who aren't familiar with the topic, Food Plugging is the latest trend in the United States. It started with a small group of Republican godfathers, who develop methods and strategies to get their children to eat vegetables. In other words, they plug their children with vegetables. They have initiation rituals and thousands of rules, the most important of which is never to force a child to eat.
Well, it turns out Marie, a Southern California mom, suggested this pumpkin pudding recipe . And the leader rejected it.
We didn't quite understand why in the group. The recipe is ideal for giving pumpkin to children who don't want to eat pumpkin; it's a rich, moist pudding.
Marie said it was because she was a single mother and that the Food Pluggers were a prudish group. That's what she said, prudish. I didn't respond because it's rumored that Melanie Tork is gossiping about everything to the Leader. And I don't want to have any problems with the Leader.
Another member asked the Leader why they were rejecting Marie's recipe, and the Leader responded with a statement saying that these weren't his decisions, that they were divine mandates, and that he was merely transmitting them. If Marie owed God anything (as he said), she would know.
I decided to make Marie's recipe anyway, I felt sorry for it.
Oh! He also sent us a video of Donald Trump sending us his special greetings and encouraging us to continue our fight. Awesome!
about this pumpkin pudding
I'll just tell you something: see that tiny little piece of pumpkin pudding in the photo? That's what was left between taking it out of the oven and washing the dishes. I didn't have time! I didn't know how to take a decent photo!
This pumpkin pudding is delicious, guys. Go ahead and try it, it's truly exquisite. It's a compact, moist pumpkin pudding. The combination of ginger, orange, and cinnamon goes perfectly with the pumpkin.
A few clarifications: it uses half whole-wheat flour. If you prefer, you can make it with just self-rising flour. That is, replace the cup of whole-wheat flour and the baking powder with another cup of self-rising flour.
Can it be made in a cake pan? Yes!
Ingredients
for 1 pumpkin pudding
- 1 cup self-rising flour (or all-purpose flour + baking powder)
- 1 cup of whole flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of neutral oil (sunflower, corn, etc.)
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. grated ginger belly
- Juice and zest of 1 orange
The recipe
it's very easy!
1. First, turn the oven on to minimum.
2. Beat the 2 eggs with the sugar.
3. Add the cup of self-rising flour and mix.
4. Add the cup of oil and beat.
5. Once well combined, add the pumpkin puree, orange juice and zest, grated ginger, and cinnamon. Mix well.
6. Now add the whole wheat flour and baking powder. Mix well.
7. Place in a greased baking dish and bake in a low oven for one hour, until golden.
Hi Paulina. I used your recipe as a base, and I made a few changes and additions, and it turned out very moist and delicious. Thanks for your recipes.
I'm looking forward to making the cake. I have so many pumpkins in my garden.
I did it, it turned out great!!
Good afternoon, I'd like to know how much 1 cup is equivalent to in grams, as indicated in the recipe! And how much liquid! Thank you. I love your recipes.
I love you Paulina, quantities? Cups of how many grams?
Hello Paulina, can I substitute whole wheat flour with rice flour or oat flour?
Hello. I'm making pumpkin pudding. Instead of using orange, I added lemon zest and juice. A wonderful aroma... I hope the taste doesn't disappoint.
I made it and it's delicious, the dough is moist, right? Because I made two, the second one I left with the idea of drying it a little more and it didn't work XD it just burned on top
I'm left very oily.
What is ginger belly?
I made it with gluten-free premix and it's delicious too!
How many degrees is the oven set to? What would be soft? A plischu number.
Can fresh ginger be replaced with powdered ginger and in what quantity?
I made it, delicious. (I didn't put in that much sugar) thanks for the recipe.
Hi, I have brown rice flour, is it the same?
I made it! It turned out sooo moist. I think it's because I added more mashed potatoes than I should have, haha. I thought it would be unpleasant, but it was a plus.
I've been looking for a recipe that I like for a long time, and I really liked this one. I think the orange juice and ginger add the touch. Once again, you didn't let me down, Paulina Cochina. Thanks!
I just made it, delicious!! Total acceptance?
I did it, let's see how this one is now!
Poor Melanie, she doesn't deserve it.
I make it the same way, but with a chocolate cake box, and it looks like chocolate cake! It's delicious. Cheers.
