Cream chicken in 5 minutes

Microwave cream chicken

How are you, Pauina Cocina friends? How are you? Today I'm bringing you a recipe for creamy chicken. You've seen that I don't usually make many microwave recipes. Well, a while back, someone called me from the TV station and asked me to cook, but there was no kitchen, so I thought I'd bring a microwave recipe.

This creamy chicken is fabulous; it takes literally 5 minutes to make, and I swear, it's delicious. I made the creamy chicken before showing it on TV to make sure it turned out just right, and I surprised myself. If you want to make a more elaborate recipe, I recommend this mustard chicken , which is made in 8 steps, or you can see the complete list of chicken recipes .

And as for this creamy chicken, there's always a catch: my creamy chicken ended up as cream cheese chicken. Why? Well, because instead of bringing cream from home, I made a mistake and brought cream cheese. On TV. Live. I'm a genius.

And not only that. But we realized right then and there, on TV and in person. You'll see that I pulled it off perfectly and ended up making a delicious creamy chicken. Anyway, apparently you can make the recipe with cream or cream cheese; it works either way.

Will it be the creamy chicken of your life? Definitely not. But for a quick lunch, it's a GREAT idea. The best part is that we need very few ingredients and very few accessories.

Enjoy the video and my monumental blunder live!

Ingredients

For 1 portion

  • 1 chicken breast
  • 3 tbsp. cream (or cream cheese)
  • 1 cdita. of mustard
  • Salt, pepper, mustard seeds if you have them
  • Green onion

5-Minute Creamy Chicken Recipe (Microwave Recipe)

That simple

  1. Cut the chicken breast into strips. You can use the whole breast if you prefer, but it will take longer to cook. Cutting it into cubes or strips makes it easier to cook.
  2. Season it with salt and pepper and combine it with the cream and mustard, mixing well until fully integrated.
  3. Microwave on full power for 1 minute. Remove and stir.
  4. Return to the microwave for 2 more minutes. Stir again.
  5. From here, you can cook it for another minute, depending on your taste. I like it this way because otherwise the chicken ends up too dry. It also depends on the microwave; some cook faster than others and vice versa, so you'll have to be careful to ensure it's cooked just right (always adding short bursts of 1 or 2 minutes until cooked through).
  6. Top with mustard seeds and chopped spring onion before serving.

I'd like to take this opportunity to let you know that I'm remodeling my kitchen, and many people are asking me about how I'm going to furnish it, what accessories I'll buy, etc. Just so you know, I'm getting new ideas from the Livingo.es online store, which I used when I lived in Spain. Although I can't shop online now since I've moved back to Argentina, I highly recommend it to anyone who's in Spain for ideas on how to equip their home and kitchen. I also recommend it to anyone who's in Spain, as it's a store with a wide variety of products and good prices.

I also make chicken with facial cream and quickly chop a small onion in a pan, add 1 drizzle of olive oil, fillet it with 1 breast and take out several steaks, cut potatoes into small squares, fry the potatoes a little, when they are golden brown I add them to the pan that already has the onion along with the chicken steaks, add 1 or 2 tablespoons of cream and finally I chop green onion to give it a touch of flavor and color and that's it.
