Teriyaki Chicken Recipe

Yield : 4 portions

Preparation time : 1 hour

Ingredients

  • 2 Bone and skin chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup of soy sauce
  • 1/4 Sake or Mirin cup (rice wine)
  • 2 large tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 chopped garlic cloves
  • Roasted sesame seeds 
  • Chopped green onion 

How to make chicken teriyaki

  1. In a mix mix to make the marinade, soy sauce, sake or mirin, sugar, sesame oil, grated ginger and chopped garlic. 
  2. Cut the chicken breasts into pieces of the desired size and place it in a hermetic container or a bag to seal.
  3. Pour half of the marinade on the chicken and reserve the other half. Refrigerate the minimum chicken 30 minutes-
