About this home polvorones recipe

It is a mystery of science, but sometimes it happens to me that I make vegan food without realizing it. I start with a recipe where veganism has nothing to do, and ends up becoming a vegan recipe. This was really a case study. In the middle of this simple recipe for homemade polvorones, I discovered that they were vegan powderiers!

And on top of that, I thought I was making sugarless polvorones, which ended up making food for diabetics, and also vegan pastry, all in one, without belonging to either categories. These vegan cookies are a delight, well powdered and streams and with a delicious almond flavor, as corresponds to homemade polvorones.

They are not like these cookies we did, but they have a much more dry texture and disarm in the mouth. That diabetic vegan friend who always ends up hungry will thank you for making this pastry recipe without divine sugar. So nothing, if you want to know how to make vegan homemade polvorones by accident step by step, stay with this recipe.

Ingredients

half a dozen comes

  • 200g of integral flour
  • 100g of almonds
  • 75ml of oil
  • Sweetener
  • The 1 orange zest
  • Ginger
  • Cinnamon

Step by step of this recipe for homemade polvorones

They are really very tasty

  1. We started by overturning our 100gr of almonds in a fountain to take them to the oven to have at least 8 minutes.
  2. We take them out, let them cool a little and place them in the multiprocessor to crush them well.
  3. In a bowl we place the oil along with the sweetener. We are also going to grate the peel of an orange and also a bit of ginger. We are also going to add a pinch of cinnamon.
  4. We are going to mix all those ingredients well and then we will turn our crushed almonds. Then we are also going to add the integral flour.
  5. It was time to put a hand. Yes guys, you have to put a hand. It is a little just and the dough will be much better incorporated. Then, with the hand, we mix well and incorporate our ingredients until there is a dough that will be very granulosa, almost like a humid dust. Do not scare that it is fine.
  6. To shape our polvorones we will need a mold. The size and shape can be at ease of each one. I chose some rounds. We are going to distribute and place our dough, shaping it with the mold, along an oven container, crushing the dough well with the hand so that it joins and cakes.
  7. They go to the oven, 170º for approximately 15 minutes. And ready the chicken, I say, the polvorón.

I would appreciate recipes for diabetics (not only sweets) because my husband has a hard time adjusting to diets and I don't know what to cook.
