Ingredients

  • 250 gr of cooked chickpeas.
  • 200 gr of spinach.
  • 1 clove of garlic.
  • 1 chopped onion.
  • 1 slice of bread.
  • 50 gr of tomato sauce.
  • 80 ml of chickpea cooking water.
  • Salt and pepper.
  • Olive oil splash. 
  • 1 pinch of cumin.
  • 1 pinch of paprika.
  • 1 pinch of white pepper

How to make chickpeas with step by step spinach

  1. Soak the chickpeas for 8 hrs/ 12 hrs with plenty of water. After that time drain and place in a pot with plenty of boiling water. Cook for 2 hrs approx. With a pinch of salt. Cook until they are soft (this will depend on the type of chickpea). 
  2. After the time, strain the chickpeas and store 1 cup of the broth. Reserve.
