6 recipes with lentils of one!

Ingredients

6 meals of 2 portions each!

  • 1.5kg lentils
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 Mryr
  • Onion 1
  • Carrot 1
  • 1 1/2 tomato
  • 1 red chorizo piece
  • Green onion
  • 1 piece of bacon
  • 1 big potato
  • 1 egg
  • 2 and 1/2 CDA. flour
  • garlic and parsley
  • 2 slices pumpkin
  • 1 water cup
  • curry
  • Lemon

 

Step by step recipes with lentils

Base

  1. Soak the lentils and cook, 1 kg, soak, or send directly to the fire, if they soak them, discard that water.
  2. Prepare all vegetables: cut the pumpkin and potatoes in slices and boil until they are tender. GRADE MEDIA CARROT AND CUT THE OTHER HALF IN DICES OR SHEEP, AND PICAR THE ONCEP, THE MORRER AND GARLIC. Peel and chop the tomato in cubes. Reserve everything. With this step we save a lot of time and it will be much more practical to make our recipes with lentils!

Stew

  1. Let's start with the lentil stew, we leave it cooking while we move forward with the rest. In a pot place the red chorizo in pieces and the bacon in strips, take to the fire without oil and cook them while they detach the fat.
  2. When the meats are well golden, we add 1/2 chopped garlic, onion and 1/4 of belling. We add some salt to leave the juice, and when it is cooked, we add the carrot in dice, 1/2 potato and 1 tomato. Once the juice started, place 1 cup of cooked lentils, add water to cover, salt and cook about 20… .30 minutes. Remember to let the stew rest in the pot before serving!

Salad

  1. We are going to mix a little of the chopped onion, a piece of belling, 1/2 tomato, 1/2 grated carrot and 1/2 chopped garlic clove. We add some chopped green onion and a cup of lentils.
  2. We are not going to season, so the vegetables are very fresh when eating. We keep it in a Tupper or a container in the refrigerator and season it just before serving. You can keep about 3 days.

Burgers

  1. In a deep dish, we are going to step on 1 cup of lentils with 1 slice of pumpkin and 1 potato slice. When a puree has been made, we will add some parsley and a bit of chopped garlic.
  2. We add 1 cda of flour, we knead a little with our hand and take the refrigerator to let stand.
  3. After half an hour, we will remove it from the refrigerator. We are going to line a table with film paper, and we are going to spread our hands with oil to manipulate the lentil paste. We form some 6 balls and then crush them to obtain medallions or lentil hamburgers. We freezing them like this and once they are hard, we wrap them with film in the middle to be able to remove them per unit.
  4. The iron can be done in the oven, we send them directly from the freezer!

Croquettes and meatballs

  1. Take 1 1/2 cup of lentils, add 1/2 chopped chipped onion and 1 egg. We are going to mix and add 1 cda of flour. We let it stand in the refrigerator half an hour and divide it into two.
  2. Croquettes: With a half we will build croquettes with the shape of Zeppeling (in the video it looks perfect). We pass them through breadcrumbs and voila! They can be done fried or baked and are ideal for chopped!
  3. Albondigas: With the other half of lentil paste, we are going to make balls and pass them through breadcrumbs. Are they the same? More or less, but they cook differently. The meatballs are made in a sauce. You can see this recipe for eggplant meatballs and copy the cooking that come out Re!

Lenetejas soup

  1. In a pot with a little oil, we place the vegetables and when cooked we add the pumpkin that was missing and the rest of the potato and cooked lentils. We cover with water and add 1 Curry Cdita. Cook about 20 minutes.
  2. We remove from heat and crush. Keep in a tupper, decorate with green onion. To defrost put the bodoque in a pot with a finger of water so that it does not stick, a minimum uncovered fire, before serving a lemon jet.

Pauli… here you can also add another rapiditin recipe.

Lenth cream to spread:

1 cup of those same lentils (already cooked and casts to remove excess water)
2 cloves of garlic
1 teaspoon of lemon (or vinegar if they like)
1/2 teaspoon of cumin (with basil is also rich)
salt and pepper to taste to taste

PREPARATION:
The lentils must be as dry as possible (if they are done with the soakers it is better)
everything is placed in a blender/processor so that everything is well homogeneous and voila!
A cream to spread on a bread, add to sandwich, and is ideal with the croquettes and hamburgers that Pauli prepared ...

Good afternoon .. start following your recipes to have ideas of how to eat healthy and not always the same dish to avoid not getting bored. (Personal state when eating healthy and wanting to leave the famous "junk food" haha)

Well :. Reading the recipe for croquettes and meatballs says that it carries an egg in its mixture and I understand that the egg is dangerous if it is not eaten immediately.

Question: Is that recipe for eating at the time or I am confused and that egg mixture can be freezed and cooking when necessary?
