Various psychological studies confirm that it is very common for people, generally during their adolescence, to go through a period of doubt about their behavior.

Will I be a vegetarian ?

I think I like vegetables. What if I try them?

What if I like it?

What will my parents say if I become a vegetarian?

How do I communicate this to you?

I don't like vegetables or meat, I like "food."

These and other phrases are common among people who have not yet defined their identity as diners.

In some circles, it's called "the crumble test." They say anyone will fall in love with a savory vegetable crumble like this. And it's the ultimate test. An ultimate challenge that can change your life from then on.

Because a carnivore carnivore who tried it and didn't like it.

Savory vegetable crumble recipe

You're going to fall in love with this recipe

1. Chop all the vegetables into large chunks. Except for the garlic , which is chopped.

2. Sauté the vegetables as follows: place them in a pan with a little oil over high heat. Stir occasionally. When they begin to brown, cover and reduce the heat to medium, leaving them like this for 10-15 minutes. The cooking time shouldn't be long. The idea is to sauté them whole. They'll cook further in the oven later.

3. Prepare the crumble : Mix the butter , cold and cut into squares, with the flour . Add salt . Break it up with your hands until a sand-like consistency forms. Add the oats and cheese and mix with a spoon.

4. After removing the vegetables from the pan, season with salt and pepper and add the cooked chickpeas

5. Assemble the crumble : Place the vegetables at the bottom of the bowls and cover with the flour mixture without crushing. I made this in individual casseroles (it's easier to eat), but you can also make it in a single dish.

6. Bake in a oven for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

7. Allow to cool and serve . Remove from the cupboard.

Hello. I've been making this recipe over and over for a while now, and my veggie-averse family loves it! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. Do you think it can be made and frozen for later?

Hi Paulina! (Although your name isn't Paulina! But it must be fun to have an alter ego!) 🙂

I'm really new to cooking. Quarantine pushed me to cook, and now I'm fully immersed! A whole new world has opened up before me!

I already made your tuna tart, it came out delicious! I just did a couple of things wrong, like cooking the tuna and the eggs! When someone doesn't know how to cook, they don't even know the basics! You'll say...nooooo and grab your head...yes, my boyfriend did the same; he's a genius at cooking, and he already explained to me how it worked, what the egg is for in the tart, and that it's cooked in the oven (I already knew that the egg and the tart are cooked in the oven). Don't worry, I've learned 🙂

I'm a bit like those broken people audios...when they ask the difference between radius and circumference when measuring a table? Same here, but in the kitchen!

The problem is that now it won't let me make recipes that aren't in video format!! Hahaha! So my request is for more videos! Besides, you're amazing, and everything is real cooking! 🙂

Kisses! I love the page!!

Can it go in the microwave instead of the oven? I have it broken 🙁 How long should I cook it?
