Yield : 10 portions

Preparation time : 3 hours

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of sugar (for caramel)
  • 4 eggs
  • 400 gr of condensed milk
  • 2 cups of evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Step by step for the ideal flip cream

  1. In a pan over medium heat melter the sugar until caramel. Pour it at the bottom of a cake mold, distributing uniformly.
  2. In a bowl beat the eggs, then add condensed milk, evaporated milk and vanilla essence. Mix until you get a homogeneous consistency.
  3. Pour the mixture into the mold. Preheat the oven at 180 ° C. Place the mold in a larger fountain with hot water creating a water bath. 
  4. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until inserting a stick, it comes out clean. Remove from the oven and let cool completely. 
  5. Place an inverted dish on the mold and, carefully, turn so that the cream is on the plate with the caramel up.
