What is this recipe about?
The recipe consists, basically, in cooking with a little water and then crushing or processing various vegetables until obtaining a uniform and creamy texture. Its consistency and form of preparation makes it a dish that shares kinship with the cream soup or with vegetable creams.

How to make a puree of vegetables
Making a vegetable puree is very simple. The first thing to do is choose the vegetables that we like the most , so that they provide flavor, color and consistency to puree, such as carrots, potatoes, zucchini (zucchini), celery, leek, pumpkin , among others.
The skin is washed and removed, cut into pieces and can previously skip with a little oil or, for a lighter version, boil in salt water until the vegetables are tender and can easily go through with a fork.
After that, the vegetables are processed or passed through a blender, along with a little cream or cream cheese , if it is of our taste and then enjoyed, either as an individual dish, as an entrance or as an accompaniment .

Thickering vegetable puree: tricks for an ideal texture
To achieve a thick and forceful vegetable puree, an extra potato can be added to the preparation or even a sweet potato, since both are rich in starch and will help give that desired texture.
Also, if dairy is consumed, a touch of cream (cream) , cream cheese, butter or natural yogurt , to give it more consistency and an extra touch of flavor. The interesting thing is to experience with different aggregates and condiments until reaching the consistency that is sought.
