About spinach croquettes

Ways to cook spinach

Although it may not seem like it, there are many ways to cook spinach, each more practical than the other, and in the best cases, we can avoid losing many of the vegetable's important nutrients.

Every good cooking process begins with washing the leaves , and it's not a question of forgetting to soak them in water for a while. So how do you wash them?

It's not very difficult; just place all the leaves in a colander and run them under the tap. The water runs, and you can wash them with your hands without any problem. Otherwise, the leaves soften and become a mess, which is not at all appealing.

Okay, after washing them we enter the cooking dilemma, here are two really nice ways to cook spinach :

Way #1 to cook spinach: steaming

This technique, coined by Paulina, is called "the way to steam vegetables that isn't steamed." (You can also see it in this video on the channel.) It makes our lives easier. What does it consist of?

  • First, wash the vegetables thoroughly and, without drying them, place them in a pan, a pot, or wherever is most convenient for you. Soaked like this.
  • Now we bring this to a minimum heat, it is important to keep the heat very low and with the lid on.

And now, all we have to do is wait for this to warm up, for the green to intensify and "faint" a little. Wonderful.

Way #2 to cook spinach: in a pan

Place a frying pan over medium-high heat and add a splash of oil to the bottom. Wait for it to heat up. (You can add a few chopped garlic cloves to the center for flavor, but that's optional, depending on your taste.)

Once the oil is hot, add the spinach (cleaned and dried). Place the lid on the pan and stir it around a bit. You'll see how it reduces and cooks, simple.

These are the two people's favorite ways to cook spinach .

Many people prefer to boil spinach, but on this channel, we're all for more creative cooking options for vegetables. Feel free to do it your way.

After cooking the leaves thoroughly, we get the other ingredients and make these spinach croquettes . They're very easy to make and somewhat addictive, like all the beautiful things in life. Add cheese in the middle and they're a winner.

All done, bye. Good luck!
