Welcome to Paulina Kitchen! In this edition of #2 Mangos, a series with Mati Chavero where we make economic dishes with an adjusted budget and we compete among us!

This time the economic dishes are a mini entrance of Bruschettas with pasta of bars, a main course with a mattress of peas, and finally a floating island with Sambayón.

Yes, all that enters the slogan "economic dishes". I do not like to tell you end of the month , because the truth is that they are rich and practical recipes. So either to leave them for the end of the month, poor people.

About these 3 economic dishes

The task of thinking about economic dishes does not have to be stressful! For me, the key is to think of ingredients that are not expensive as a base, such as peas in this case.

It is also useful to think how many different uses can be given to the same ingredient, such as eggs.

At the outset we have abrupts that Paulina actually made because he had a long -distance and tomato of the main recipe and did not want to waste them. They are almost a canapé!

The mattress of peas is the star of these economic dishes. It is a fast food, ideal for when you return from the FACU or you arrive from the work hungry, because you do it in two minutes!

And finally, a good floating island with Sambayón, and as if that were not enough, to the microwave!

These economic dishes are the classic Triple B: Well, beautiful and cheap!

Greetings and until next

Ingredients

For two people

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 can of peas
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 pancito
  • 10gr of bacon
  • 1 Chico belling
  • Garlic powder
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • sugar
  • Port

Recipe for the 3 economic dishes

entrance, main and dessert!

Brusques with brunette paste

  1. We are going to chop the onion and 1/4 of belling and reserve. We will cut the rest of the bellish in cubes. We peel the tomatoes, we are going to chop it and we will cut the other half.
  2. In a pot with olive oil, we are going to place the bell on cubes and let it cook for a few minutes. When they are golden, we add the tomato in rooms and cover. We let it cook until it has changed color and is tender (in the video it looks good)
  3. While that is cooked, we are going to cut two slices of bread and we will toast them.
  4. When the fire vegetables come out, we pass them to another bowl, we add a splash of olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder. We crush with a mixer and serve on the toast. If you want you can multiply the amounts of the recipe and do a lot to have in a bottle in the refrigerator!

Mattress of peas

  1. Heat a pan with oil and add the chopped onion and bell, add some salt and saute until the onion is transparent. At that time place the tomato in cubes and lower the heat.
  2. We are going to cut the bacon into strips, they can add about 3 or 4 fetas, a little pepper and the peas. Upload the fire and cover.
  3. When everything is linked and left a liquid, lower the heat and make two holes. In each one we will place an egg (in the video it looks perfect!)
  4. Leave covered until the eggs are cooked. Turn off the fire and leave 4 minutes until I stop bubble to serve!

Floating Island with Sambayón

The recipe is super easy and I made it with part of the eggs that were left over. In the category economic dishes, this dessert enters perfect! You can see the complete recipe here to see all the info!
