Yesterday I wrote on Facebook that I didn't understand why tomato and lettuce were a classic salad if I thought it was such a terrible combination. I was surprised by the number of people who shared the same opinion.
Here's this monochromatic greenery, for all the dissidents.
Ingredients
everything light
- Lettuce
- Arugula
- 1 handful of peeled almonds
- Ground chili
- 1/2 lemon juice
- Orange juice (equal to the lemon juice)
- Olive oil, salt and pepper
Easy salads: spicy lettuce and arugula
spicy, spicy!
1. Wash and chop the lettuce into large pieces. Wash the arugula and mix it with the lettuce.
2. Toast the almonds in a drizzle of olive oil. Add them to the salad.
3. Season the salad with salt , plenty of pepper and a little ground chili (you can also use chopped chili).
4. In a small jar, combine the lemon orange juice , and olive oil . Blend until smooth and drizzle the orange vinaigrette over the salad.
