It is not necessary to be a great pastry maker to be able to make a good recipe from ChocoTorta. Anyone can do it! About this original ChocoTa (classic) recipe

In general, the typical recipe is with cream cheese and dulce de leche ... This recipe that I bring you has a small variation, instead of cream cheese is only with cream! We form a false mousse, beating the dulce de leche next to the cream and that is the mixture we use. There is a much softer and more airy chocoota. It is much lighter!

Well ... lighter is an obvious saying. We are very clear that this dessert is very quick to do, that it is very tasty and all that, but of Light has nothing but hey, it is an allowed that we can give ourselves from time to time not? Ingredients

For a medium source

  • 400 gr of dulce de leche (if it is a much better pixture, but no matter!)
  • 400 gr of milk or custard
  • 750 gr of chocolate cookies
  • Milk or coffee to soak the cookies
  • 50 gr of chocolate (coverage or cup) semi bitter
  • 50 gr of cocoa powder

How to do chocoota step by step

  1. Start beating the dulce de leche and when it is lighter color add the cream . Beat at the lowest point of the blender until it is ready. Be very careful that it does not pass from the point because if it is cut!
    If for those tragedies of life it was cut: add a splash of cream and integrate. Reserve to the side.
  2. Soak each cookie and place in a fountain to form a layer. Place a layer of dulce de leche cream. Another layer of moistened cookies and so 4 times.
  3. Take to cool for 1 hour in refrigerator.
  4. Sprinkle with powdered cocoa. By serving , grate a little bitter chocolate above and be happy and eat chocoota!

5 Variants of the original Chocoota

It can always be richer!

In the detailed chocoota recipe they will find a very simple recipe , but if they want to put some swing I have a set of 5 variants with which I like to vary it so that it is not always the same. What am I going to tell you are my greatest secrets, so they know how to appreciate them ok?

  1. If you want a more compact mixture for chocotorta they can resort to the traditional recipe of the same amount of milk sweet than cream cheese. For example, in the recipe of this post it can be 400 gr of dulce de leche and 400 cream cheese. Just mix it well with a spatula and voila!
  2. They can add things to the chocoota to give it another texture , such as merenguitos, or nuts, or almonds ... they can put a layer of cookies, sprinkle some crispy ingredient and above the mixture layer and so on.
  3. For coverage you can make a more liquid chocolate ganache Using 100 gr of chocolate and 100 ml of milk cream. You have to chop the chocolate and add the hot cream on top and mix. We finish the chocoota with that kind of sauce and send it to cool. Very delicious!
  4. You can serve a portion with a vanilla ice cream bowl to cut with the chocoota sweetness.
  5. If you want to innovate, you can mix it with some citrus , or with strawberries ... the star of the party.

And the original chocota is like cream cheese that is called Quark cheese! It is the most similar (because the Philadphia Tampcoo is the same).
