Do you like peaches in syrup? You can't imagine how easy they are to make. Here's the recipe: 2 steps, 2 ingredients, absolutely gorgeous. And they're delicious.
It's worth making peaches in syrup. First, because when fruit is in season, it's a nice option to preserve it, and also because it's worth seeing people's faces when you tell them they're homemade and not canned.

Recipe for peaches in syrup
Easy
- Peel the peaches, remove the pits, and cut them in half. The other way around, actually, otherwise it will be difficult.
- Place the sugar and water on the heat. Boil for 10 minutes.
- Once this time has passed, pour the peach halves into the pot and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, no longer. Turn off the heat.
- Let the peaches cool in the pot; this is important because they'll finish cooking there. If you let them cook too long, they'll become too soft.
- Bottle, ideally in a sterilized jar. Give as a gift to your neighbor.
Hello, good evening, I have some, but they are not very ripe. I make them the same way.
Here I go with the recipes! 💪💪💪
Hello, good recipe, any information on how to make the crust easier?
Paulina, excellent recipe...my homemade peach juice came out delicious...thank you.
The syrup can be seen and tasted. 10 minutes is too little, the liquid is still pure water. When it takes on a thicker consistency (never like caramel, never like water) pour the peaches, preferably ripe (but hard) for ten (10) minutes over low heat, the peaches well covered in the liquid.
The syrup should have a peach flavor (pale yellow), the peach ripe and hard so that when cooked they do not become too soft.
To taste, you can add one (1) cinnamon stick or one (1) clove to this amount of peach. That is, a very mild (slight) cinnamon or clove flavor.
Good and easy; but the ideal is that it answers the questions... goodbye blessings!!

How long does it last? How are they preserved? How long do I have to keep them to eat them?
HELLO PAULINA. I HAVE A LOT OF PEACHES, BUT NOT THE KIND YOU USED FOR THE PEACHES IN SYRUP RECIPE. THE PIT DOESN'T COME OUT SO EASILY, AND THEY'RE A LITTLE HARD. CAN THEY WORK? THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Thanks Paulina for the recipe, they turned out delicious, even better than the canned ones!!!???
How long are they preserved for consumption?
Thank you so much for the recipe. I'm going to share it on my Facebook group. I made them and they turned out a little soft. I don't know if it's because I overcooked them (despite having controlled the time) or because of the variety of peach, or because they were really ripe. I don't know. Anyway, the recipe is super easy, and I'm sure when I run out of these I made, I'll make them again. Cheers.
Thank you, your recipe helped me a lot. I had no idea how to make peaches in syrup. Thank you, thank you.
