In this show... we make an onion and cheese tart with a guest whose hair is a mess. We say goodbye to Vila Joiosa with a delicious tart and a very special guest. The musical comedy producer is spending a secret vacation in Benidorm, and our crew (aka me) goes out to find her to share her signature cake: a soft and delicious onion and cheese tart. Bon profit!

about this onion and cheese tart
The unique thing about this onion and cheese tart is that it doesn't contain egg. In other words, the ingredient that binds the tart together is the cheese. The tart is great eaten cold, but it's spectacular to eat it warm because the cheese is still soft, so the tart stays strong and full-bodied, but it melts in your mouth. Try it and tell me.
Ingredients
You have at home
- 1 puff pastry mass
- 4 onions
- 1 green onion
- 150g of Brie cheese
- 150g of soft goat cheese
- 150g of spreadable cheese
- Grated or gratin cheese
- Oil, pepper and salt
Onion and cheese tart in 7 steps
- Cut the onions and spring onions into small pieces and sauté them in oil over high heat.
- Cut the brie and soft cheese into small squares.
- Add them to the onion when it is transparent and stir until it dissolves.
- Add the cream cheese and mix everything together.
- Place the puff pastry in a baking dish and fill with the onion and cheese (let it cool).
- Put the grated cheese on top.
- Bake for about 20 minutes. Done! Your onion and cheese tart is ready.

Doesn't it have eggs??🤔
Genius Paulina!!
How brilliant! Very easy, especially for me.
The oven must be strong?
Thanks, Paulina! Just when I'm losing hope of avoiding a rainy day, I search for some of the ingredients I have, and a solution appears.
The amount of money it takes to make this cake....!!!! Hold on, Catalina.
I made it with the cheeses I had at home: machine cheese, fresh cheese, mozzarella cheese, and grated cheese. It turned out great! Thanks, Paulina!
gossiping in your kitchen mmmmm
I once tried a similar one, delicious, I already saved the recipe...Pablo.
I tried it with other cheeses I had, and it was delicious. You don't know what to do when you have extra onions at home. This tart is a great solution.
