Yields: 12 cannelloni

Preparation time: 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 kg of chard
  • 500 g of ricotta
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g of grated cheese and 100 g of grated mozzarella
  • Nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 pancakes for cannelloni 
  • Sauce of your choice (Bolognese, filet, white or pink)

How to make cannelloni step by step

  1. Boil the chard for 3-5 minutes. Drain well and chop finely.
  2. In a bowl, mix the chopped chard with the ricotta, eggs, ¾ of the grated cheese, the grated mozzarella and the seasonings.
  3. Fill the cannelloni with this mixture and roll them up.
  4. Place the cannelloni in a baking dish, cover with the sauce of your choice or a mixture of both, and sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese.
  5. Bake at 180°C for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
