For this recipe you can use the dough for cannelloni that is bought in the supermarket or also the traditional pancake

Meat cannelloni

The meat cannelloni are a classic of the classics and, for me, the main competitors of the Lasagna. However, every recipe has its tricks and this flesh of meat cannelloni is no exception , so they read carefully:

Ingredients:

  • 1 leek
  • 2 Green onions
  • 2 large onions or 3 girls
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • 1 celery
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 400 gr of minced meat can also be a knife cut, but they have to cut it very small!)
  • 150 gr of bacon
  • Condiments: salt, pepper, sweet paprika, ground chili
  • Olive oil

Step by step

  1. The first step is to cut the vegetables: cut the leek and the onion of green, the onion, the bell pepper and the garlic in Brunoise (very small), peel the tomatoes and remove the seeds and then cut into small cubes, grate the carrot. Reserve to the side and pass to the other step.
  2. Cut the bacon into thin strips and place in a large pan or a medium pot (keep in mind that it will be where we do the whole filling so you don't have to be small!) Without oil or anything.
  3. When you start letting go of the fat that the bacon has add the vegetables except the tomato and sauté. If necessary add a splash of olive oil .
  4. Once the onion is transparent add the minced meat and cook. Salpimentar.
  5. Once the meat is cooked add the chopped tomato and cook 5 more minutes, or until the tomato falls apart.
  6. Ready! Once everything is cooked add the paprika and ground pepper and rectify the flavors.
  7. Fill the cannelloni normally.

A very good option for this meat cannelloni filling is: when the vegetables are cooked and before adding the meat add a spoonful of flour, stir and cook 3 minutes. Follow the steps according to the recipe and when we add the tomato we add a splash of milk. Finish cooking normally and voila!

Vegetable cannelloni

An ideal option for vegetarians are vegetable cannelloni . This filling turns out to be much lighter, and by adding almonds its consistency and flavors are totally addictive.

Ingredients

  • 600 gr of fresh spinach
  • 2 large or 4 small purple onions
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 3 hard eggs
  • A handful of pydons or minced roasted almonds
  • 100 gr of grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil

Ingredients

  1. Carefully wash spinach and dry them well.
  2. Cut the onion and garlic very little and sauté in a pot with a splash of olive oil. When they are transparent add the spinach and sauté for a couple of minutes. Until the spinach are "fainted."
  3. Remove from heat and salt and pepper. Once it is warm to add the chopped cooked eggs, the grated Parmesan cheese and the nuts. Ready!

You can make chard or spinach and ricota cannelloni adding 200 gr of ricota and using 300 gr of spinach less. It is added when the cheese is added and that's it!

Chicken cannelloni

Like chicken empanadas this dish is fully undervalued. Chicken cannelloni turn out not as popular as their neighbors. But I have a very clear theory after so many years cooking this dish in my generation family after generation, it will develop in the next paragraph.

The chicken cannelloni recipe is undervalued because it is not yet proven that they will read below:

Ingredients

  • 3 Pat
  • 1 big white onion
  • 1 green onion
  • 100 ml of white wine
  • 1 garlic clove
  • Condiments: salt, pepper, curry powder.
  • Olive oil

Step by step chicken cannelloni

  1. Brown the chicken pieces from both parties. In the case of using a furning leg first on the fat side. Add the onion and garlic and saute until the vegetables are transparent.
  2. Add the condiments and cook for 5 minutes. Add the wine and cover until the chicken is cooked. If necessary add a splash of water.
  3. Once cooked process everything (obviously before withdrawing the bone). Try the filling and rectify.

These chicken cannelloni are special to cover with bechamel sauce and lead to gratin. It is delicious! Boloñesa sauce into the recipe , they already know that we accept all kinds of proposals and variations here.

Choclo Canelones

If chicken cannelloni are not popular that remains for the choclo cannelloni. I like them all, so Aguante Choclo endures!

Ingredients

  • 80 gr of butter
  • 2 medium onions
  • 4 sweet choclo cans
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 300 ml of milk
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Grated Parmesan cheese

How to make choclo cannelloni

  1. Chop the onions as finely as possible.
  2. Add the butter to a pan and when it melts add the chopped onion. Salar. When it is transparent to add the drained corn cans.
  3. Mix everything well until it is well integrated. Once you are adding the tablespoons of flour and stiring a few minutes. Add the milk little by little.
  4. Go constantly stirring so that it does not stick. When cooked try to see the filling is tasty and voila!

This filling can be added a little blue cheese or a cheese with strong personality to give it a special touch. Enjoy!
