Urgent Roquefort Pasta

Roquefort paste

Have you ever measured how long it takes to make a hamburger ?

It's really not as fast food as they say.

This Roquefort pasta is the go-to fast food in my house, the dish that comes out quickest when we REALLY don't have time to cook but, of course, want to eat. And it's delicious. It's also filling. So I think it's worth recording.

Do you know how long this Roquefort pasta takes? The time it takes to cook the noodles, no more. Take note:

Ingredients

2 servings

  • 1 piece (approx. 50g) of Roquefort cheese
  • 1 piece of cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of cream
  • 1 CDA of butter
  • 1 handful of nuts
  • 250g fresh pasta (dry pasta is fine, but fresh pasta will cook even faster)
  • Salt and pepper

and some side notes

Roquefort pasta

1. First, put the pasta water

2. Now, put the two types of cheese and the butter . Yes, all together over medium heat. Stir with a wooden spoon, otherwise it won't stick. While stirring, chop the walnuts . Just like that, as soon as they come out. You can place them between two paper towels and run a rolling pin over them. Ready! Let's continue.

3. Once the cheeses are melted, add the tablespoons of heavy cream and combine the mixture. Season with salt and pepper. Be careful with the salt, as Roquefort is already very salty. While the water is boiling, check your bag: phone, keys, money, etc.

4. Once it's boiling, salt the water and add the pasta . Stir. And go comb your hair, Marta, or you'll end up like that.

5. When the pasta is ready, drain it and place it in the pan with the cheese sauce. Mix everything well.

6. Serve, sprinkle with chopped walnuts and place on the table . Don't skip the walnuts; they add a special touch!

...Did you eat a lot because it was so good? Now you want to go to sleep, right? Would you have preferred something lighter? I can't be involved in everything, Marta.

This is how my Roquefort pasta looks like.

I'm loving it

Delicious but for the fish I would remove the nuts or add very few but very delicious.

It's delicious, but I don't like Roquefort, what other cheese could it be?

It's difficult for me to always have cream in the refrigerator... can I replace it with milk?

The only problem with being fast food is having Roquefort cheese and walnuts in the house, which aren't that common in mine. But it looks delicious, I'm sure you'll have to try it!

One way to speed things up, because you'll make less of a mess: simply place the nuts in your hand and squeeze them until they crack. Another alternative: buy pre-cracked nuts at a health food store, and that's it—they're already cracked (and since they're cracked, you avoid snacking on nuts all day).

I love it, and I haven't made it in years! I think I'll change the menu tonight. 😉 Bs.
