About this recipe for homemade sweets

Yes, it's strange, but knowing how to make candy at home has its benefits . For example, significantly reducing the consumption of chemicals and additives found in pre-made products from the kiosk.

NOTE: They're not necessarily healthier or lighter, but they do allow us to control the ingredients we or our family consume a little more. If you've given your children a try and they're asking you to please cook more, here's another brownie to negotiate food for good behavior with our children.

How to make homemade gummies

shiny and tasty

  1. It's so easy, guys! In a small pot, mix the water, sugar, and both gelatins: flavored and unflavored. Place the pot over medium heat and stir until the ingredients are well dissolved.
  2. Once it boils, we turn off the heat and let the mixture cool, as it is quite thick.
  3. We paint the silicone molds (they can also be ice cube trays) with a napkin soaked in oil so that our gummies do not stick.
  4. We fill the molds with the gelatin mixture and put them in the refrigerator.
  5. 1 hour 30 minutes later, our gummies are ready. We can roll some in sugar.

very similar to the purchased one

  1. In a bowl, mix the butter with the lemon essence and lemon zest. Mix and then add the powdered sugar. Mix again until smooth.
  2. Spread the cream on a biscuit, preferably with the mark inside, and place another biscuit on top, forming a sandwich. Use as much as you like, and once you have them, refrigerate them for a while.
  3. All that's left is to melt the chocolate in a double boiler, remove the cookies, and dip them completely in the chocolate using a fork.
  4. Then they let them rest, ideally on a rack but it can be any type of board, and once the chocolate cools, our titas are ready.

Homemade Vauquita

little house, little house

  1. In a bowl, mix the dulce de leche with the powdered sugar until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  2. We line a rectangular mold with plastic wrap and then sprinkle a little powdered sugar on top.
  3. We spread the mixture from the boul and once it is flat, we sprinkle powdered sugar on top of the mixture again.
  4. Let it sit at room temperature for 48 hours. When the sugar on top has dried, add a little more and turn the mixture about once a day, and that's it!

Paulina. Why doesn't the sugar stick to my homemade gumdrop? (It dissolves.)
