Sugar -free apple crumble

Apple crumble

Hello my dear friends... In today's program, we're going to learn about another sweet delight, a finger-licking, sugar-free, and easy recipe: it's the best apple crumble recipe you'll ever try!

You know I'm a big fan of sweet apple dishes. In fact, this apple tart we posted a while back has become one of my favorite sweet tarts.

You won't believe how delicious and light this sugar-free apple crumble is. I found it amazing for several reasons: on the one hand, I think these types of recipes are classics during this time of year when it's cold and we crave a sweet snack. On the other hand, I like that it's soft and crunchy at the same time.

Additionally, like all the diabetic recipes we publish on Paulina Cocina, this one is also supervised by a nutritionist.

It is a crumble without sugar marta

First of all, let me tell you that crumble is usually made with green apples. Since I'm making a sugar-free crumble, I thought red apples would add more sweetness, and it turned out delicious. However, if you want to use green apples, feel free to do so.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Now I'll leave you with the video, and I'll see you next time.

Step-by-step apple pie recipe

Ingredients

(for a small apple crumble)

  • 6 apples
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 2 sachets of powdered stevia
  • 1/2 cup of almonds
  • 1 cup of whole flour
  • 1 cup of instant oatmeal
  • 2 tbsp. flax seeds
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cdita. of cinnamon

Step-by-step sugar-free crumble recipe

  1. The first thing we're going to do in this crumble recipe is peel the apples. You can use a potato peeler or a knife, whichever is easiest for you. Then, we cut them in half and remove the core and seeds. Finally, we cut them into thin slices, as if julienne-style.
  2. In a baking dish, we'll arrange the apple slices slightly overlapping each other. To better understand this step, I recommend watching the video; it's super easy but difficult to explain in words. Remember to use a baking dish of the appropriate size depending on the size of the apple crumble you're preparing. In my case, I'm making a small one, so if you want a more traditional size, you can double the ingredients and use a larger dish.
  3. Once we have all the apple slices arranged in the dish, we will sprinkle them with the juice of half a lemon to prevent them from oxidizing and set them aside.
  4. Now we're going to make the crumble. The first thing we're going to do is crush the almonds . To do this, I left them in the bag and used a rolling pin to crush them until they were crushed. Alternatively, you can chop them with a knife or use a mortar and pestle; the important thing is to keep them in small pieces.
  5. Place the whole-wheat flour in a bowl with the oats and almonds. Add a pinch of salt and powdered stevia . I used two packets of stevia, but this depends on how sweet you want this apple crumble to be. If you want it extra sweet, you can use three, and if you want to use just one, that's fine too.
  6. Add a teaspoon of cinnamon and two tablespoons of flax seeds to the previous mixture, which will make the crumble very crunchy.
  7. Now we're going to add olive oil. Apple crumble is usually made with butter, I know, but this recipe uses olive oil and it's delicious. You can start by mixing with a spoon, but I recommend using your hands at the end. You'll see that this crumble turns out a bit loose; if you want it to be more loose, you can change the proportions and use more flour than oats. I really like the way it turns out this way, more grainy.
  8. Place the crumble on top of the apples . Note: don't squash it. Make sure the crumble covers the entire surface of the apples.
  9. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 40 minutes. Once this time has passed, check the consistency: it should be crispy on top, but the apples should also be very tender (you can poke or pierce with a knife). If the crumble is too golden but the apples aren't cooked yet, you can cover the dish with aluminum foil to prevent the crumble from browning further and bake for a few more minutes to finish cooking the apples. It's ready!

The same thing happened to me with the crumble. So I mixed the mixture, added honey, put it in the oven for a little longer, and then put it in the pudding mold in the fridge. It turned out fine.

Dear Sir, I have some stevia in a jar. It would be very helpful if you could give me the weight in grams instead of "two packets." Thank you very much!

The oats and flour were never cooked. I added 13 tablespoons of oil. Everything fell apart.

I did it... but it ended up like loose flour... in fact, when I made it, I noticed the mixture wasn't very moist... I did everything exactly right! How can I improve it? Thank you so much for everything you teach! Kisses
