Ingredients

For about 12 pancakes

  • 1 egg
  • 1 choclo (corn) cooked (it can be a can of corn)
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of welfare flour (it can also be done with common flour)
  • 1 oil splash

Salted version:

  • 1/2 cup of grated cheese
  • Salt and pepper

Sweet version:

  • 1/2 cup of fresh cheese or grated mozella
  • 2 tbsp. of sugar
  • Cinnamon to sprinkle

 

Corn pancake recipe

Long live the blender!

  1. If we do not use a can of can, what we will do will be to boil the raw choclos for 15 minutes or so, we want them tender (for more specifications on the boiling of choclos, look at this post: boiled corn: 2 tips that you do not know). Once they are ready we will remove the grains with a knife, as seen in the video.
  2. Place the milk and choclo grains in the blender. Liquefare until there is a thick and yellow paste, without choclo traces.
  3. Add the egg and continue liquefying.
  4. Pass the mixture to a bowl and add the flour. Remove well to integrate.
  5. Salad version: Add salt, pepper and grated cheese.
  6. Sweet version: Add 1 CDA. of grated fresh sugar and cheese. It is important that this cheese is not hard or strong, we put fresh cheese or mozzarella cheese.
  7. Make corn pancakes: in an non -stringent pan, place a splash of oil and heat. Go putting a tablespoon of the mixture for pancakes. Turn them when they are golden. Don't move next to the pan! It is less than a minute that takes time to brown. Neither do you climb the fire to the maximum or lower it to a minimum. If they are in Máximo, they burn. If they are minimal, they dry.
  8. Remove corn pancakes and rain with chopped ciboulette (salt version) or ground cinnamon (sweet version). And send me this tweet:
