What to eat today? Breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner, to a greater or lesser extent. A question that 8 out of 10 people ask ourselves when it's time to cook. Whether for one or more, I can assure you that in this analysis, the option of ordering delivery always comes up, and we consider it a lot. It all depends on how much we really want to cook. Of course, the intention of today's guide is to change all of this little by little.

So, this is where teamwork comes in. Welcome to Paulina Cocina! Today's special mission: to help us plan what and how we eat with easy recipes . All of this came about because Paulina showed us how she eats throughout her day, and we drew on this information and got inspired. If you're interested in watching this video, here it is...

Without further ado, let's end this discussion.

What can I eat today?

What is the best way to have breakfast?

We all know this is one of the most important meals of the day . We've just woken up and at least 9-10 hours of fasting . Sometimes we're hungry, other times we're not... and this depends a lot on what we had for dinner, but we'll talk about that later.

We often skip this meal, sometimes because we wake up too late, other times because the monotony and uniformity of breakfast makes it less appealing... Sometimes an option is to get up early and dedicate some time to other activities before thinking about breakfast to generate the feeling of hunger.

So, let's make sure to dedicate enough time to breakfast , sit quietly, and keep in mind that breakfast will give us the most energy for the day. It should include at least one dairy product and cereal, toast , etc. If it also includes fruit or fruit juice , even better.

It is always important to keep in mind that the needs of each person vary greatly depending on their personal circumstances, whether they are young, adults, or children.

What does a full lunch include?

First of all, let's avoid preparing food at the last minute , leaving long hours between courses, or eating quickly. Meals should be varied, complete, and tailored to each person's needs.

The first course: pasta, rice, whole grains; lentils, chickpeas, beans, carrots, whole-wheat bread, cabbage, broccoli, or cauliflower. Soup is ideal as a first course. What interests us here is the energy contribution from complex carbohydrates. It's important to eat the right amount of these foods.

The second course ?: Now meats, meat products, fish, or eggs. These foods should be served in moderate amounts without satisfying hunger with protein alone. They can be accompanied with salads, vegetables, legumes, or potatoes .

What to eat for snack and dinner today?

Dinner should be lighter than lunch, and the earlier the better, so you have time to digest and sleep well. You should have at least two hours before bedtime. Based on the menu we've been planning throughout the day, these last two meals will be much lighter and more appropriate for the hunger we feel at this time of day.
