Spaghetti Bolognese Recipe

Yield : 3 portions

Preparation time : 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 250 gr of spaghetti
  • 250 gr of ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 400 g crushed tomatoes 
  • 1 teaspoon of dry oregano
  • 1 teaspoon of dry basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil
  • Grated Parmesan cheese

How to Make Spaghetti Bolognese in 5 Steps

  1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot with boiling salted water. Once cooked, drain and set aside. In a pan, heat a little olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion and garlic.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned and flaky with a spoon. Add the grated carrot to the pan and cook for a few minutes until tender.
  3. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and mix well. Season with oregano and dried basil, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Reduce heat to low and let the sauce cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring to allow the flavors to blend and the sauce to thicken.
