Hello everyone! Today I want to share a delicious recipe: a blueberry and chocolate cake that's so delicious you won't believe it. Besides being a simple recipe, it has a very special and original flavor. The combination of chocolate and blueberries is truly delicious!
I invite you to try it and tell me how it turned out!
Ingredients
for a cake
- 300g of self-rising flour
- 200g of sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 240ml of milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp. Sunflower or corn oil
- 1 tbsp. bitter cocoa
- 1 cup chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate)
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- For the glaze
- 2 tbsp. powdered sugar
- 2 tsp. of water
- 7 blueberries
Blueberry Cake Step by Step
an exquisite cake!
1. Mix the flour, sugar, unsweetened cocoa and salt in a bowl.
2. Beat the egg with the milk and oil in a bowl.
3. Combine the dry ingredients with the egg mixture.
4. Melt half a cup of chocolate chips (I did it in the microwave, using 30-second bursts to prevent burning).
5. Let it cool and add to the preparation.
6. Once everything is well combined, add the remaining half cup of chocolate chips and the whole blueberries.
7. Mix well, transfer to a mold and bake in a minimum oven (160º) for between 50 minutes and 1 hour or until dry when inserted with a toothpick.
8. Remove, let stand and unmold.
Frosting: Mash the blueberries in water. You'll end up with a violet-colored glaze. Place the powdered sugar in a bowl and add the teaspoons of this blueberry glaze, one at a time. Mix well and drizzle the mixture over the cake.
7 blueberries? 7? Make sure you fill out the ingredients correctly in your recipes!
Pauli, hello! I made the cake and it came out DELICIOUS, super easy and fast. Susana is a GENIUS, THE LITTLE ONE.
Excellent!!! I changed the recipe a little because I didn't have cocoa.
I added cocoa from drinks and it came out perfect.
I'm a beginner and this recipe came out DIVINE!!
Spectacular!!! I made it with white chocolate because I didn't have any dark chocolate, and instead of cocoa, I added coconut. 10 points!!!
In about 45 minutes it turned out spectacular and with double the proportion…
Uh! After that comment, I had all my doubts about the recipe! And I liked it so much that I was going to try it!
Paulina! I've had it at 160°C for 50 minutes. I stuck a toothpick in, and it's completely raw inside! (It looked fine on the outside.) Now I've turned the oven up to 180°C and I'm praying it cooks well. #sadness #treacherousoven
