How to peel almonds

In this program… Paulina introduces us to another of her favorite recipes. Paulina brings us an essential tip for the busy cook: how to peel almonds. Or rather, how to peel a LOT of almonds at once, a task that, in the words of our star host, "can be a bit daunting."

I'm sure it will be useful to you.

Enjoy it as much as I did, I'm now a great almond peeler.

How to peel almonds

many, all together

Here's Paulina, the show's host. Okay, guys, Nicola already told you: peeling almonds is very easy, but peeling them one by one takes a lot of patience. With this method, the fruit of modern science, you'll learn how to peel almonds in no time. And not only that, you'll peel a lot of almonds at once.

Because you peel almonds every day, right? Or am I wrong?

All I have left to say is that if you can, don't peel them. That brown almond skin is delicious and has many health benefits.

Here are some details of what I would humbly like to call “The Paulina Method.”

  1. Remove the thick shell from all the almonds you want to peel.
  2. Place a pot of boiling water in a pan and blanch the almonds: leave them in the boiling water for a minute (just one). Remove them and drain them on a paper towel.
  3. Now the almond skin comes off easily and they're easy to peel. So far, so good. If you ask how to peel almonds, they'll tell you this.
  4. Paulina's method: Place all the almonds between two cloths and rub them together. Each time you open the cloths, there will be several peeled almonds. The clean ones go. The stubborn ones stay. Repeat until they are all clean. Dry your hands and send this tweet so everyone knows about your new achievements:

Hi, haha, this method is very interesting. I'd like to know if you have something similar for chestnuts. It's tedious to make for the whole family and we spend a lot of time fighting, haha.

thank you so much
