Cornalitos or death.

about these fried cornalitos

Oh Marta, how cheap cornalito is. And how delicious it is.

This recipe is a little different from the usual cornanalitos. The addition of ginger and lemon zest gives them a fantastic, fresh, and flavorful touch, perfect for pairing with a beer on a summer afternoon.

Try fried cornalitos like this, you won't regret it.

And stop messing around with the little head thing. Either become a vegetarian or eat the fried cornalito properly. Little eyes? Inward.

Enjoy them.

Ingredients

for 1 nice dish of fried cornalitos

  • 1/4 of cornalitos
  • 2 slices of ginger (you can also use powdered ginger)
  • 1 tbsp polenta
  • Half -lemon zest
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp. flour
  • 1 garlic clove
  • Chopped parsley
  • Frying oil
  • Salt and pepper

Recipe for fried cornalitos with lemon

that easy

fried cornalites

1. Place the chopped ginger, lemon zest, minced garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and lemon juice in a bowl.

2. Mix well and marinate the cornalitos there for at least half an hour, but longer is even better.

3. Remove the cornalitos from the marinade by placing them in a colander to release all the liquid.

4. Coat them in a flour and polenta mixture. Don't skip the polenta, as it will make them extra crispy. You can give them a quick dip in the mixture or simply pour the entire mixture into a Ziploc bag, place the cornalitos in it, and shake.

5. Fry them in very hot oil until golden brown on both sides. Serve with lemon and cold beer.

By the way, I dedicate this beautiful recipe to my great friend Iuri, cornalo of life.
