Healthy, nutritious, homemade, delicious: my tuna and pumpkin burgers have the ability to significantly reduce the guilt of eating them with some good fries. You'll see, you'll see...
Ingredients
for 4-5 burgers
2 cans of tuna
2 tbsp cooked pumpkin
1 egg white
1 tbsp chopped parsley
1 clove minced garlic
2 tbsp breadcrumbs (more if needed)
1 tbsp sesame seeds
Ground black pepper
Oil
Tuna and pumpkin burger recipe
They are very simple
1. Mash the tuna with a fork until it breaks down.
2. Add the parsley and garlic . Then add the pumpkin , sesame , and pepper . It's very important NOT to add salt. The tuna is already salted, and otherwise, the tuna will be too salty.
3. Finally, add the white and breadcrumbs and mix. You'll have a dough-like consistency. Don't let it be too soft; it should be easy to handle.
4. Form them into balls first, then flatten them into burgers . They don't need to be thin.
5. Brown them on both sides in a hot pan with a little oil .
A tip: They reduce the guilt of eating them with chips.
What can I provide for urgent help, please?
Great! I added the green part of the spring onion (because #ExcessDoesNotExist) and since I never have breadcrumbs, I used polenta =)
Oh! And I baked them in a hot oven, and when I turned them over, a slice of pategrás cheese was on top… Delicious!
We ate them in a homemade pita bread sandwich, with tomato, spinach, and your beautiful mashed cabbage… Thanks for both recipes!
Paulina, I love you! Thank you for healing my relationship with cooking!
Can they be frozen?
We love more fish dishes!!! Come on, we want more!!!
I made these, they're amazing! Super delicious and healthy... they're fantastic with cheese! Thanks, Paulina.
Paulina Paulina! Do I want to freeze them??? Raw!??
Hello! Today, Monday, December 19, 2016, we're going to make these delicious-looking burgers!
my
Paulinidad! Could you tell me what I can replace the tuna with? Maybe textured soy? Thanks!
Paulina! What happens if I don't add pumpkin? Is there anything I should replace it with? Thanks!
Hi! I have a question. Are the pumpkin spoonfuls raw straight from the pumpkin? Or do I have to make a puree? Thanks, Paulina. Your recipes have saved my life since I moved in with my boyfriend, hahaha.
Question: What can I replace parsley with??:)
Question: The recipe says "egg white" twice, and in the photos, I suspect there's something else. Is it breadcrumbs? Grated cheese? Since this question came to me while I was cooking, and you haven't given us your phone number yet so we can ask you right away (!), I added breadcrumbs, and they turned out great. Thanks a lot.
can they be frozen?
Spectacular, not even the crumbs were left tonight!!!!
Tomorrow one with Guacamole comes out!!! I'll tell you the results later... MB!!!
Hi, they turned out delicious but a little dry. Any advice? Thanks!!
I loved them... I'm going to try them at the first opportunity.
