Rice recipe with vegetables

Yield : 4 portions

Preparation time : 1 hour

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of rice 
  • 2 cups of water or vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoons of kitchen oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 cup of broccoli
  • 1 cup of mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup of peas 
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to do rice with vegetables

  1. Rinse cold water rice to eliminate excess starch. Reserve. In a large pot, heat the kitchen oil over medium heat. 
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic to saute for a few minutes until they are translucent.
  3. Add the carrot, peppers, broccoli and mushrooms, cook 5-7 minutes until vegetables begin to soften, but still keep firmness.
