Mini sweet bread easy recipe!

You won't believe what these mini sweet breads ! Today Paulina brings you a recipe for mini sweet breads is made in half an hour . Yes, half an hour.

You don't even have to go out and buy the molds; you can make them with aluminum foil or parchment paper and that's it. If you want, you can obviously also use a store-bought one. The idea is that this mold will help the sweet bread rise.

Now for the truth. We confess.

This is not a sweet bread.

Shocking, we know.

A sweet bread has yeast, like bread, but sweet. (Phew!)

This is something else, it's a fake sweet bread that comes out so well and is so delicious and quick, that we forgive it for not being part of the bakery family.

Does sweet bread fulfill its purpose? No one knows what sweet bread's purpose is, but this one fulfills them all.

It's actually a scone that will have the shape and taste of sweet bread. Will it turn out the same? Obviously not, but it's delicious and will get you out of a bind.

It's ideal if you have to make a lot of sweet bread to give as gifts or to sell, because it's ready in half an hour.

If you are a true sweet bread fundamentalist and want to make one, here is a sweet bread recipe and a chocolate sweet bread .

about this mini sweet bread recipe

You can add any flavor you want. Paulina, for example, used tangerine zest instead of orange zest in the video. The same goes for raisins; not everyone likes them, we get that. If you like them, your mini sweet breads come out with raisins; if you don't, they come out without.

You can replace them with chocolate chips, for example. Or you can make a mini sweet bread with the controversial candied fruit. I personally love it, but I know it can break up entire families.

Greetings and happy holidays!

  1. The first thing you'll make is the mold. Cut a rectangle of aluminum foil and fold it in half lengthwise. It will look like a very wide ribbon. Make a cylinder about 5 cm in diameter with this, and join it by inserting one end into the other. If you have any questions, the video makes it very clear.
  2. In a bowl, mix the self-rising flour, salt, and cold cubed butter. Mix the butter with the flour and salt with your hands until you reach a sandy consistency. Avoid over-kneading; you don't want the butter to melt, just combine it.
  3. Once we reach a coarse sand, we add the orange zest, raisins, split walnuts and chopped almonds, and sugar.
  4. Add the milk and mix until a dough forms. Do not knead.
  5. Transfer to a floured plate, press down the dough slightly, and cut a sweet loaf about 3cm thick with a glass or floured cutter.
  6. Place in the pan and bake at 200°C for 20 to 30 minutes. You can place them on aluminum foil to prevent them from burning on the bottom.
  7. Remove, sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy some more holidays!

This is how beautiful they look

You can decorate them with ribbons to give as gifts!
