Welcome to another holiday-saving recipe! Today, Paulina brings you “ The Canapé Bible .”
Because if there's one feat in this world, it's figuring out what the hell we're cooking. Especially during the holidays. To the everyday question "what do we eat?" we have to add
What are we eating on the 24th?
What am I making for New Year's Eve dinner at work?
What are we taking to your sister's on the 25th?
What's my brother-in-law bringing on the 31st?
We have already given you a considerable number of solutions and answers to these questions.

About this canapé recipe
The holidays always bring a mix of emotions: joy, gatherings, and of course, a little culinary stress. We all want to shine at the table, but without spending hours in the kitchen. That's why today we bring you a solution that's synonymous with success: canapés .
These little bites are much more than just appetizers. They're the perfect bridge between waiting for the main course and the first conversations of the evening. They're versatile, elegant, and, most importantly, incredibly easy to prepare!
In this guide, you'll find six original canapé ideas that combine classic flavors with a modern twist. The best part? You can make them with ingredients you probably already have at home. From fresh and light combinations to more gourmet options, there's something here for every occasion and every craving.
So, prepare your best trays and get creative. With this recipe, you'll be the one who gets the applause at every gathering. Let's begin the magic of canapés!
They were missing: The canapés
The ones tasked with filling your stomach while you stand chatting with a small napkin and a drink in the other hand. The canapés you eat with restraint, because the night has just begun.
In this video, Paulina teaches you how to make different types of canapés.
These are all ideas that you can then make as is, or use them as inspiration and create your own canapés. All canapé artists.

Canapé recipe
6 step-by-step ideas
Idea 1: Balls
- In a silicone chocolate mold or ice cube tray, cut a square of raw ham and line each of the squares.
- Finely chop the bell pepper and add it to the cream cheese. Fill the holes, flatten, and seal with the excess prosciutto. Place in the freezer.
- Line the mold with salmon squares. Fill with cream cheese mixed with chopped capers. Seal. Place in the freezer.
Idea 2: Fake sushi
- Using a rolling pin, flatten the milk bread. Spread with cream cheese (you can also add capers if you like).
- Cut the salmon into strips. Place a rectangle of smoked salmon on half of the cheese sandwich bread, add a strip of avocado, and roll it up like sushi . (This is clearly visible in the video.)
- Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to eat.
Idea 3: skewers
- Cut the cheese into cubes. (It can be mozzarella, fresh cheese, boconccino, whatever you like!)
- Assemble the skewer with the olive on the bottom, the cheese, and finally the cherry tomatoes.
- Make melon balls (if you don't have a cone, you can make them with a small spoon).
- Assemble the skewer with rolled raw ham and melon.
- Before serving, add basil and olive oil to both types of skewers.
Idea 4: Sticks
- Cut the breadsticks in half. Mix the cream cheese with the grated cheese and oregano.
- Spread one end with the cheese mixture and wrap with a slice of cooked ham.
- You can also make it with the combinations from idea 1, remember? (Raw ham + cream cheese with bell peppers, and smoked salmon + cream cheese with capers) or whatever you can think of!
Idea 5: Toast
- Cut a piece of Brie cheese and place it on toast (it can be store-bought or homemade).
- Add a teaspoon of blueberry jam on top of the cheese.
Idea 6: Avocado Dip
- Mix the cream cheese with the sliced avocado.
- Add salt and lemon.
- Spread some crackers or toast on the surface, add a few slices of cherry tomatoes, and drizzle with olive oil.
