Chocolate sweet bread recipe
Ingredients
For the previous mass
- 2 tbsp

For sweet bread
- 200 cc of warm milk
- 500 gr of flour 000
- 60 gr of bitter cocoa
- 60 grams of black sugar
- Mandarin zest
- 2 eggs
- 80 grs of butter
- 1 salt cdita
For filling
- Walnuts
- Chocolate chips
- Mantecol
How to make sweet chocolate bread
step by step
- First we are going to make the previous dough by putting the flour, black sugar, fresh yeast and a jet of warm milk in a bowl. It is important that milk is warm, neither cold nor hot. With a spoon we will mix and tighten the yeast against the edges until everything is well integrated. Once we have it, we cover it with a review and let it stand for about 15 minutes.
- For sweet bread, in a bowl we will mix the 500 gr of flour along with bitter cocoa stirring well. I do not like it, but at this time they can make essence if they want (vanilla essence, essence of orange blossom, etc). In my case I prepared it with mandarin zest, which could also be lemon or orange.
- In the same container we hollow the center and add two eggs, the butter, black sugar (if they do not use common sugar) and milk. Finally, we add the previous dough and with our hands we mix and knead until this dough is fully united.
- When we have the uniform dough, we flour the table and knead for 15 minutes. It is very important that we knead for 15 real minutes so that the dough that soft and spongy. Force!
- With this dough we can make a sweet bread of 1kg or 2 sweet bread of 1/2kg. Let the dough rest in a container, covered with a review and in a temperate place without air currents, for example in the oven or microwave off. There you have to let them ride for 1 hour until you double your volume. If we are going to make 2 fresh bread of 1/2 kg we already let them lift separately.
- Once the time passed, we put the dough on the courage and we slowly stretch it with the hands to wear down the dough.
- When we have it stretched, we put the nuts on the pieces on the dough, the chocolate chips, and I put a surprise ingredient: chips of Mantecol!
- We close the dough and knead again until the entire filling is distributed in the mass bun.
- Put the dough in a sweet bread and cover them again, taking them to slight covered until the dough comes out over the mold.
- Bake at 180º for 30-40 minutes if they are 1/2 kg, or for 1 hour if it is a sweet bread of 1 kg. Let cool and enjoy!
