About this spinach cake recipe based on potatoes

As I told you it is a recipe suitable for celiacs, since they have no flour and therefore is gluten without. The potato is crispy and delicious, and combined with spinach is wonderful!

You can also take advantage of the idea of the potato base and make the filling you want! They can do it of ham and cheese, of tuna, what they can think of!

Remember that if they are going to cook for someone who cannot eat gluten, they have to make sure that all products are suitable and have the symbol. It is also important not to have flour on the table or in the sources they will use.

I do not recommend making a very large cake, because they are going to be accommodating the potatoes for a long time. Better to build two medium or individual.

For 1 median cake

  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tied spinach,
  • 2 eggs
  • 100g. from Mozzarella
  • 50g. of Roquefort
  • salt, pepper,
  • mustard in grain
  • olive oil

4 steps spinach cake recipe

  1. First we are going to peel and cut the potatoes. One of the potatoes we are going to cut it into well -finite slices along the other potato we cut it into finite slices wide. In the video you look good. In a pan with oil we are going to brown both the lamits of potatoes without cooking too much.
  2. When they cool in the potatoes, we place them at the base and the edges of a cake mold, trying to overlap them to form a framework to hold the filling. I explain how to do it in the next step.
  3. To assemble the filling of our spinach cake, we cut the onion into cubes and saute it in oil. When the onion is transparent, we add the tied of spinach cut into strips. We salt and pepper, add the mustard in grain and leave 1 or 2 minutes until the spinach is reduced in size.
  4. In a bowl we mix 2 eggs, the dice in dice and if they want: Roquefortm. We add the vegetables and mix well. Place the filling on the base of potatoes and baked at 200 ° for about 15 minutes or until the filling is cooked.
