I was recently looking for how to make homemade condensed milk because the supermarket had closed and I wanted to know how to replace condensed milk in a recipe. I came across this basic recipe, which I found incredibly useful for making healthy condensed milk, choosing the amount of sugar you add, and knowing what you're putting in your stomach when you eat it.

About this condensed milk recipe
Making condensed milk turned out to be easy, and it's actually one of the simplest recipes I've ever seen , and one of the coolest cheap dairy recipes I've ever come across, because it's also so fast! You'll never have to buy a can of condensed milk again, I swear.
I'm also leaving you a recipe for homemade Greek yogurt that you can see and try.
Ingredients
-2/3 cup sugar
-1 pinch of salt
-1 tbsp butter
-1/3 cup boiling water
-1 cup powdered milk
How to make condensed milk
it's mega easy
1- To begin preparing the condensed milk, the first thing we'll do is fill two-thirds of a cup with sugar. To that, we'll add a pinch of salt and a tablespoon of butter.
2- Next: Let's boil water and fill a quarter of a cup with boiling water. Then, mix it with the sugar and butter . Stir well until the butter is melted and incorporated with the rest of the ingredients.
3- Once the ingredients are well dissolved and the mixture has a syrupy consistency, add the powdered milk. You can use skim milk, of course. Mix everything well until the powdered milk is well incorporated with the rest of the ingredients.
4- Now it's time to blend: Using a hand blender, we'll blend our ingredients until the mixture is smooth and free of any lumps. This is extremely important for achieving a pleasant texture for your homemade condensed milk. If you find the consistency is too thick, you can add more boiling water (as much as you consider necessary) and blend again with the hand blender.
5- Once our ingredients are combined, the recipe is ready! All that's left is to transfer the mixture to a jar. It can be stored in the refrigerator for approximately 5-6 days. Keep in mind that this preparation contains far fewer preservatives than store-bought condensed milk.

Mine ended up with a lumpy consistency, perhaps because I used regular stick margarine and not BUTTER, or maybe I put in too much...
But without that, it ended up with a very rich flavor.
I learned another... 250ml of milk, 250g of powdered milk, and 50g of powdered sugar. Mix well with a mixer... and that's it! Delicious and low in sugar. Makes more than half a liter!
It turned out spectacular! I can't believe it, and it's done so fast!
