About this recipe for carrot cake with chocolate
The carrot cake recipe, or carrot or carrot cake cake is very common. In this case it has the special chocolate aggregate.
Chocolate and carrot have much more in common than we think.
In the Middle Ages, carrot began to be used in sweet preparations due to its high sugar content. The sweeteners at that time were very difficult to get, but not this sweet vegetable ...
This is why we get it with chocolate, because there are two great and sweet flavors.
Anyway, I leave here the recipe for a common carrot cake, in case they are not to try new combinations.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup of sugar (175g.)
- 3/4 cup of oil (175ml.)
- 3 eggs
- one and average of lift flour (or common flour + baking powder)
- A tightening cup of fine grated carrots (about 2 medium carrots)
- 1 cdita. sodium bicarbonate
- 1 cdita. of cinnamon
- Half cdita. of nutmeg
- 1 orange zest
- 100g. semi bitter chocolate
- Chocolate Bathroom coverage
Step by step to make this carrot and chocolate cake
Very, very rich
1. The first thing we are going to do is preheat the oven at 180º. Meanwhile, we are going to enmantecar and flour a cake mold. Reserve.
2. Then, we are going to continue by placing the eggs with the sugar in a bowl and we will beat them until they are united.
3. What follows is to add the oil and mix until you join well.
Moment of the first star of the cake:
4. We incorporate the grated carrot. We will put it together with the orange zest. We will mix with enveloping movements until everything is joined.
5. In a separate bowl, we are going to mix the flour, bicarbonate, cinnamon and nutmeg.
6. We are going to add these dry ingredients sifting them on the damp mixture. We are going to mix well, making sure that there is not a grumo. Remember that movements must be enveloping.
The time comes for the second star of this cake:
7. We are going to melt the semi bitter chocolate in a water bath or microwave, with a splash of coffee. This will significantly enhance its flavor. Once it is melted, we let it warm without cooling at all.
8. The next thing we are going to do is remove a part of the carrot mixture (a little less than half) and we will mix it with melted chocolate.
9. Now we are going to place in the mold that we enmantec and flour previously, the mixture without chocolate. Then we are going to add the mixture with chocolate and we are going to make the marbled drawings with a stick or with the handle of some clean utensil.
10. We carry our baked mold for about 45 minutes or until we see that it is golden. We test the stick, if it comes out dry, the cake is already.
11. We take it out and let it warm. Finally, we are going to bathe it completely with chocolate coverage and voila! It only remains to enjoy it with some rich mates.
It became one of my header cakes, I do it continued and I love it
