Welcome to Paulina Kitchen! Today we have a strawberry cake that will become crazy! This is one of the first cakes I made in my youth, an October for my brother's birthday.

Obviously I wanted to lift a friend (or a couple the truth) and it occurred to me that with this strawberry cake I was going to win a couple of points. Yes, it is also my brother's favorite cake, but that's not important.

The issue is that all the schoolmates and friends of my brother fell that day, I was royal with a divine flower shirt and my strawberry cake was seen overflowing on the table.

We ate some patys and desserts my success, all celebrating what rich I was, that good, that if they could eat another portion. One approached and hugged me awkwardly just as teenagers can do it and said "wow, this good, but my mother's is better"

About this strawberry cake recipe

The best thing about this recipe is that the base is a dough of sweet cakes that can be used for any filling. Especially for fillings that have wet ingredients because it contains a lot. Ingredients

For a medium strawberry cake

Mass

  • Flour 0000 250 g.
  • Discharge 100 g
  • 1 vain essence cdita
  • 135g. of sugar
  • 1 egg

Pastelera cream:

  • 250 ml of milk
  • 55 grs of sugar
  • Lemon shells
  • 2 yolks
  • 20 grs of maicena

Cream:

  • 250g. milk cream
  • 1 CDA. of sugar
  • 500g. of strawberries
  • 1 over strawberry jelly.

  1. For the dough we will place the ointment butter in a bowl and we will beat it for a minute. Then we are going to add the sugar and beat until it is integrated. Add the egg and continue beating.
  2. Add the lemon zest and half of the flour. Mix in the bowl and add the rest of the flour by joining with your hand. Do not knead , if not integrate everything.
  3. Once linked, wrap on film paper and take the refrigerator about 30 minutes. (While they are doing the filling!)
  4. To stretch the dough, cover the mesada with paper and stretch on top. They can help a little flour so that the palote does not stick. To bring the dough to the mold, we lift the film paper and volcanned it on the mold.
  5. Cover the dough with butter or aluminum paper and add some type of weight (beans, lentils, etc.) and bring to a medium oven for about 10 minutes. Remove, take the weight and take another 10 minutes to bake until the edges are golden. Let cool.

Stuffed

  1. Wash the strawberries , cut the little hair and file them along. Reserve.
  2. In a bowl place the milk with the sugar and the lemon zest, and take the microwave to maximum power for two minutes.
  3. In another bowl, beat the yolk with a splash of milk. Add the cornstarch and beat until you integrate. Strain the hot milk on top and beat.
  4. Take 1 more minute to the microwave to maximum. Beat energetically when it comes out and cover with a film in contact with the cream so that a layer of cream is not formed on our pastry cream . Let cool.
  5. In another bowl mount the milk cream with the sugar at half a point. When it is, add the pastry cream and integrate well. Cover with contact again.
  6. Prepare the gelatin as the package tells them and let cool to room temperature to make it liquid.

Armed

  1. We are going to assemble our strawberry cake: on the cake dough and cold place the cream and spread well.
  2. On top of putting the strawberries in a circular or spiral form as seen in the video.
  3. With a spoon and little by little, cover the entire cake cold jelly Take the refrigerator at least 1 hour before serving.
